Deon Jordaan, my oupa het vertel dat die Bybel deur die geslagte aangegee is na die oudste seun. Hy het ook vertel dat ons al sewe geslagte met Gideon Jacobus Louis as die oudste seun was, met my as die sewende geslag. Met my seun, Ruan, is die naam ritme gebreek. Ons sukkel nog om die 'sewe geslagte' Gideon Jacobus Louis te bevestig.

What a privilege to participate in the 2019 Telkom Winter Games. Excellent team members, same for the members of the other regions. Extremely difficult conditions at the Nyl dam, Potgietersrus / Mokopane, but always a blessing to be so close to nature. I was fortunate to improve my personal best for carp twice to help my team, and ultimately our region win the games. Honoured to be selected for the Telkom National team.
